Some people might have heard of the old saying, “Every cloud has a silver lining.” A person should be optimistic for every obstacle they face in life. There can always be something positive out of a bad situation. People should not give up for what they believe in. A person’s passion can lead someone to an ultimate focus. People can be creative when fulfilling his or her focus. The most important aspect of creativity is passion because it allows one person to achieve a certain goal they have in mind. In this quarter, we have seen these through the lens of Dan Eldon, The Wind Rises, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and also from Charles Bukowski. He shows that he has a passion for airplanes. Throughout the movie, Jiro dreams of meeting Italian aircraft engineer, Caproni, and designing a successful plan. He has an amazing passion for his work and creation of flight. He has this motivation to make his designed plane fly, so he can please himself and his work. Becoming an airplane engineer has always been Jiro’s dream ever since he was young. Jiro has faced many sacrifices in his life, especially finding out his wife has tuberculous and has little time to live. He pushes through this and keeps creating a masterpiece. He shows passion through his creativity because is he motivated to do whatever he needs to accomplish. His focus is on his wife because he wants to share the last moments with her. He wants her to see his creation fly before she passes away. This shows that Jiro’s love for someone goes beyond great lengths. I love how Jiro worked hard to get where he was at the end of the movie. It shows so much about his character and the drive he took. It does not matter of where you start, it matters of where you
