There are people do who do not like the Agriculture industry;some of these people are PETA, and there is tension between the two groups and I will be discussing the tension. So before you read this essay you may be thinking “ Who is PETA?” Well I will provide a little background information on who PETA is, PETA ( People for the Ethical Treatment for Animals) is a animal rights activist group who zone in on certain groups of people. One example of one of those groups would be the 4-H and the Agriculture world. So now that you know some basic background information, let’s go into some topic that have caused problems between the two sides. I will admit that PETA has done some things that go along with their animal rights ways and have helped many animals in need. Some things they have done to help the animals would be, helping rescue animals who are in need, bringing the mistreatment of animals to the public’s attention, and relocating and finding homes for those animals who have been abused or neglected. This is People for the Ethical Treatment of Animal’s side, However there is always two sides to each story.

A major topic that has been brought up is the use of antibiotics in the farm animals sent to slaughter, this a very misunderstood topic for many people do not understand that there is withdraw times on the medicine bottle that gives you the amount of day that it takes for the medicine to get out of the animal’s system. Another topic is that, we abuse our animals; I can inform you that it is a false claim for we treat our animals the best that we can and we make sure they live a long and happy
