A child should never live in the darkness of their soul but live in the light of day with a life full of play. Ever since the early 1900’s children under the age of seventeen are raped and abused. Once a child is abused about thirty-five percent of rapists kill the child or young adult so that they can not tell on them for molesting or putting them in any kind of danger. More often occurs when one says things that can “put down” another and name calling. These are deliberately making one feel as if they are not worthy of love or respect. It could also feel as if there is no way to show any kind of ability or emotion. Stating that verbal abuse could be used as saying something such as “you are so ugly why do you even try”these kinds of things hurt feelings and it causes emotions to go crazy and it causes one to say and do things that do not make sense but it just happens because of anger. Recognizing the Signs and … the child after being abused experiences harmful things. Shows sudden changes in behavior or school performances. He/she has not received help for medical problems brought to adult attention. The child further on has learning problems that can not be fixed. After the child is harmed the child becomes watchful and fears a lot of people. There is a fear of letting people in that are not known for a long period of time. If the child lacks adult supervision they could become mentally unstable and do things one can never imagine doing, for example, cutting themselves. What people refer to as “cutting” is referring to using a sharp object to make slits in your body. It is used for relaxation harmfully relaxing.
