Impatiently I was waiting, feeling more nervous by the second. However I forced myself to wait for the last ride to finish. ‘Oh wow!’ It is one of the tallest rides possible, as I looked up to the highest part of the ride my neck started to ache! I waited and waited becoming more and more anxious each second that went by. Suddenly I turned my head fiercely; I swear I could hear strange unnatural noises coming from the ride. It didn’t sound too good. Alex had persuaded me to go on it. Cautiously I told Alex about the noises, all she had to say was ‘don’t be so stupid!’ Gazing at her I realised she thought I was joking. Already feeling nauseous I started to back away from the ride, but I got shoved forward by Alex.

Unable to do anything we were at the top and about to drop. Mentioning nothing to Alex and I closed my eyes and screamed. We dropped. Racing down the drop I could hear the tracks screeching. A huge bit of metal flew off the ride it made its way towards us the sun was shining off the shiny metal. I looked at the end of the metal I could see the ragged edges. Rocking from side to side in our carriage, I heard a massive crash and another bang; it was as loud as a gunshot not long after the one before another bang. Looking back I saw the bit of metal coming towards us like an aeroplane in mid-flight. Is it over yet? My heart was thumping out of my chest. As my eyes were closed I heard Alex scream; Opening my eyes I looked beside me and the pole had hit her. She had a huge cut across her forehead; she was losing blood too quick. Feeling an unbearable sharp pain shoot to my head I raised my hand and noticed I had been hurt, as i rubbed the painful gash the pains became sharper. The pain was now unbearable. Bringing my arm back down again I realised there was some blood on my hand. This isn't good, why us? I laid my head back and stared in the sky; for a moment I felt peace and I felt relaxed then it all came
