Of course, Television, one of the main sources of entertainment is pleasurable. Most adults and children find it very interesting to watch television programs. A good number of individuals in the society are unaware that their time, fervor and even their personal rights are sacrificed to watching television. Although television is enjoyable, accessible, cheap and attractive, most of the contents depicted by it such as violence and sexual intercourse have adverse influences on its viewers. It affects the health of children and upsets our daily life activities. Researches had shown that watching television for long hours has negative effects on its viewers. Television became popular in the 1950s and since then, it has spread all over the world like a whirled fire, so fast that people neglect its effect on our ethnicity or that an average youth now waste 8 years of their life to this gleaming tube. Students do not have time to read their books any longer because they are watching television which consumes much of their time. People tend to be money-oriented, wayward, obese and aggressive as a result of watching television. Principally, television is indeed a negative influence on the society!

Statistical research had shown that over 85% of youths today are addicted to watching pornographic movies. Television has chiefly promoted sexual activities among young people, thereby making them become addicted to sex which will destroy them in no time. When children are exposed to watching television their involvement in sexual activities increases day by day.
