In “The Most Dangerous Game” the setting of the book is described as “bleak darkness, dank tropical night, Caribbean, mysterious, thick war blackness. (Connell 6) In High Noon, the setting is described as Hot, clear, sky, and Western. ”This is just a dirty little village in the middle of nowhere. Nothing that happens here is really important.” “The Most Dangerous Game” is trying to describe there setting as dark, and ominous, and warm so that you can feel and visualize what the character sees and feels.
