The book titled The Lion, The Witch, And The Wardrobe is about four children who are sent to live in the countryside of England during World War II. While exploring the house the youngest child Lucy finds a giant wardrobe. When she steps inside she finds that she is in a different world completely. She meets a faun named Tumnus who invites her for tea and tells her about the white witch. She finds out that the white witch has enchanted Narnia so that it is always winter. When Lucy returns she tells her siblings who are reluctant to believe her and think that she is just messing around. One of the siblings, Edmund, ends up following Lucy into Narnia but has trouble finding her and instead runs into the white witch. She says the she is the queen of Narnia and offers him turkish delights. She tricks him into inviting the rest of his siblings. All of the siblings end up going to Narnia together and to Lucy’s dismay Tumnus and been captured by the white witch. They end up running into some beavers who inform them of a lion revered as a God named Aslan. Edmund warns the white witch that his siblings are looking for Aslan. The witch turns on Edmund and captures him eventually planning to kill him. The siblings along with Aslan save Edmund and a war breaks out between the Witch’s army and Aslan’s. In the end Aslan’s army wins and they eventually grow up in Narnia as royalty. They eventually decide to go back to the wardrobe and when they do they find that no time …show more content…
