The Great Gatsby Throughout my life I have learned so many different lesson from experience and novel that have read in the past. In the novel “The Great Gatsby” by F. Scott Fitzgerald is about a man name Jay Gatsby. Who’s also in love with a woman name Daisy which is Nick (the narrator) cousin. While Gatsby is in the war, Daisy got married to a man name’s Tom , a man who’s very wealthy. When Gatsby came back from the war, Nick helps Gatsby reunite with his love one. This is when drama started to come into the sight. In the end of the novel, Tom feeding a man to a wolves with no evidence and withdrawled with his wife without a single word. An quotation that shows this lesson is, “James Gatz-that was really, or at least legally, his name. He has change it at the age of seventeen and at the specific moment that witnessed the beginning of his career-... His parents were shiftless and unsuccessful farm people…” this quote shows that Gatsby childhood was really poor and he have to work as a clam-digger to get money along the shore, and his parents were not wealthy at all. At the age of seventeen he change his name to Jay Gatsby. Years later, Gatsby a boy with not a wealthy childhood turn into the most wealthy man in the West Egg. When the author started,”...Mr.Gatsby had sent him over to cut my grass… A green house arrived from Gatsby in a white flannel suit, silver shirt and gold colored tie hurried in…” This quote shows that Gatsby has become a very rich man in the West Egg, he hired a man to come over to Nick’s house to cut down the grass, he also sent the whole green house over to decorate nick’s place, and besides that he dressed himself up with a suit for a tea party at Nick’s house(page
