The concert that I attended was, The Legend of Zelda Symphony of the Goddesses. It was a birthday gift for 20th birthday and a graduation gift for my cousin that had also come along with me to the show. The concert was advertising the recent re-release of a game of the Legend of Zelda (LoZ) series Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask for the Nintendo 3DS. The game had first came out on the Nintendo 64 but Nintendo wanted to allow the children of the recent generation and the adults who have previously played it, enjoy the game with updated graphics on a portable gaming system. The performing group was the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra and Choir. The date that the event took placed was 7 pm March 23rd 2016. Some of the pieces were various popular songs that are well known throughout the community of gamers.

The concert was very worthwhile because it reminded me of my childhood playing the multiple games and reliving the music of the games made me so nostalgic that I wanted to replay the games over again just to listen to all the great music that was created. This was my first time going to an orchestra concert. But I did preform in a piano concert during my high school years so I somewhat knew what was going to happen when it came to having a small intermission break for the program. The audience responded well probably even more enthusiastic than myself. There were a lot of people that dressed up as multiple characters throughout the games and they all were yelling and hollering at the end of every segment showing that they performed wonderfully for (possibly) their favorite game. This event did make me feel that I would enjoy more classic concerts that played very strong orchestra songs like Lux Aeterna, O Fortuna, and Strickland’s
