Bees use their dance language, which was first discovered over 70 years ago by Karl von Frisch, an Austrian zoologist (Karl von Frisch, 1971-1980). They use this system of communication to inform other bees where to find food and the exact location. Bees are very smart, the first dance they do is called the tail-wagging dance which means if the pollen is farther away they move around in a figure of eight wagging their tails, the other type of dance bees do to communicate is called the round dance, if the pollen is closer to the hive the bees move in a circle (Karl Von Frisch, 1971-1980). The dance movements convey the direction and the distance of the food source. The distance is given by the number of tail-wags and also the duration of the straight run. Their language is not much different from humans, they use movement instead of words and it's similar because the information still gets passed on and shared to the other
