History Is Important

—A lot of things has happened in our past that still some people don’t know about. It is important for us to know and comprehend.

World War I

World War I (WWI or WW1), also known as the First World War, was a global war centered in Europe that began on 28 July 1914 and lasted until 11 November 1918. From the time of its occurrence until the approach of World War II, it was called simply the World War or the Great War, and thereafter the First World War or World War I.

How it Started
It’s much complicated to explain but to put it simply Just about every nation in Europe was mixed up in a complicated alliance with other nations, with all sorts of peace treaties and agreements. Think of modern-day Iraq, with the Kurds and the Shi'ites and Sunnis, but bigger. Nobody likes anyone else and everyone's itching for a fight. And well the assassination of the Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria kind of set it all off, and it's considered the "official" start of WW1.

Importance of WWI
—It is important to know about World War I because World War I represented every existanting conflict in Europe, devasted most European countries by the time it was over and paved the way for World War II and the rise of Fascism. This Great War also was pretty brutal. It marked the end of old world warfare, and modern warfare, with the use of submarines, landmines, poisonous gases, air warfare and reconnaissance, tanks, grenades and machine guns replaced cavalries and bayonets. This was very important because it was mostly US military technology and military forces that shifted the long held stalemate, which seemed to hold Europe hostage by constant war and moving battlefields for years. The importance of knowing about racial segregation

—It is important to know about racial segregation because it enables us as human beings to understand each other and to respect one other. We fail to eliminate our ignorance towards our fellow man whereas, if we eliminate our ignorance. Together we can grow towards enlightenment and become the better man and improve society as a whole.

How it ended

—Racial segregation ended when Martin Luther King Jr. Made a famous speech and it was going through congress and it past that it would end. BUT if you noticed it never ended because people still these days are in racial groups and make racial comments about people. And if you really think about it EVERYONE is segregating other people these days.
