Many people in our society have encouraged others to ¨live in the moment”. Yet with the rapid changes and evolution of technology, scientists have commenced believing that time travel may one day be viable. For some, the thought of being able to go back to the past or into the future is exhilarating and may seem beneficial to our technological advancements and civilization. But in reality, time travel is detrimental to our society and mankind because a change in the past can immensely change what happens in the future, the process of getting there is extremely dangerous, and there would be a vast difference in societal and cultural beliefs. Changing the past can be extremely dangerous for the future.
