Miracles happen for those who believe in faith, rather than modern science. There have been thousands of cases where people experienced miracles. What they believe is, when nobody helps, God is there to help. This concept of faith works for many people around the world. Science and religions, if do not go along causes distinctions in people’s believes. Likewise, many of them believe in a divine power, who is the only creator of universe. On the other hand, they think science is originated from religion. A person having advance stage of cancer, gets cure by a heal touch of a woman after few months of diagnosis; if people continue believing this miracle then the results are not good for an advance society. There are superstitious believes in many parts of the world, like curing patients through magical touch and magical spells. Poor people when they do not have access to hospitals go for such treatments. Hence, they are fooled by the skillful person. Because, what they see is not actually happening. Although, it is true, but they believe that miracles strengthen their faith in God. Because God can do what is impossible for them to do. According to Celia Deane-Drummond, University of Chester, God is detached from the world and he comes active in some special events which are not in the control of science (29). This shows that miracles help a person to think about the existence of God. It does not matter whether he is a believer of religion or not, but he comes to feel the divine power. Likewise, people who already believe in God, experience miracles then will have a very strong faith in religion. A patient who gets cure through prayers would try to convince others to do the same, which will cause religion dominant over science.
