Have you ever looked around at society and realized just how much of an impact to our daily lives that a smart phone has? In 2015 Nielsen group reported that ever four out of five phones purchase is a smart phone(www.govtech). Technology grows more with each passing day. Personal Computers range in sizes from desktops to smart phones. Among one of the smallest and newest personal computers is the smart phone which was created in 2007 (www.govtech.com). A Smart phone is a device that allows you to use it as a cell phone and a personal computer in one. This new size of a person comport also connects you to the internet and to social media. The smart phone has been able to keep society connected to goggle, internet, Facebook, tweeter. The researcher ComScore in June report found that the majority of all internet traffic (60 percent) of the traffic was from a mobile device rather than a desktop, which for a long time in the technology world was the dominant online portal(www.govtech.com). The smart phone since it is mobile and access the internet allows multiple professions to be able to multitask and complete their jobs faster, accurate and better time management.
There was a study done by the issue of “Science” in August 2011 on how the changing of internet affects the brain catalogs knowledge (www.govtech.com). What they found was that the brain rather the memorizing the information given it is now memorizing where to locate the information that is required for an given problem. Most of adults that are in the range which uses the smart phone are used to connect with their friends and family. This addiction to smart phones has hindered person to person interactive relationships.
According to Pew Research’s in 2014, states that couples have had problems with their partners and the use their smart phone (www.govtech.com). Married couples reported that they said their spouses use of the smart phone was a distraction to their marriage. The study results showed that among the younger applicants ranging in ages between 18 to 29 years of age said that they felt ignored by their partners (www.govtech.com).
Through the use of smart phones a raise of anxiety and mental problems have accorded (www.techtravelandtalks.blogspot.com). This has been an on going problem. Some people on the internet have experienced bulling and cyber sexual relationships online. In fact nearly 20 percent of adults ranging between the ages of 18 and 34 have had some type of cyber sexual relationships with the use of a smart phone (www.elle.com/cluture/tech/al4005/social-media-smartphones-influesnce-on-our- lives/). Due to this percentage relationships are being ended because of unfaithful partners on the internet. Some adults have been known to devolope standards to the care of a smart phone. There are some adults that refuse to date a person with as little as a crack phone screen on a smart phone(www.govtech.com)
