Let's keep in mind that two other early Christian creeds also show the same results as the creed we will be looking at; they are "The Apostles Creed ( )" and The "Chalcedonian Creed (451)." Creeds are very important to the Christian faith for first and foremost, they were written to refute heresies that had arisen in the church. Biblical Creeds or Faith Statements help us to find the right Church and show that the fellowship of the church is committed to the core essential doctrines of the Historic Christian Faith. Therefore, the Christian creeds as well, most if not all of Saint Paul's canonical letters were written to deal with doctrinal errors of some sort so that the believers can be of one mind and have divine unity in Christ. Having said that, lets take a look at "The Nicene Creed" which is a early doctrinal faith statement produced in (A.D.325) to deal with the Arian heresy taught by the heretic Arius.
