Poster Paper The poster I was assigned was by Aung San Suu Kyi that says “We will surely get to our destination if we join hands.” The picture that was attached with the poster was a latter with three people on it, there were two actual people and then an animal. The people each have a hand on each other helping up the latter. There is also an arrow pointing up on the bottom of the page. The arrow I think is representing their destination. There's a lady on the latter who is holding a bird in her hand helping it up the latter. All these actions are showing one another helping each other. For an example this quote can relate to The Great Gatsby. It relates to this by gatsby and nick coming together to help reach gatsby's dream of meeting daisy. Nick and Gatsby teamed up together to help reach one dream, Gatsby loving Daisy. Gatsby helps out nick by helping him try to become rich because nick's dream is to be a writer and rich. Gatsby uses his money to help nick attain his goal. In the Great gatsby they all the characters try to help each other in some way. You could also say that money helped people throughout the novel to help them come together and reach their dreams. Gatsby and nick both used money to help get what they wanted. The quote “We will surely get to our destination if we join hands.” I think this relates to my life at turpin by people needing to come together and all help each other. If we all work together then we will soon reach our destination such as graduating high school. Joining hands with my teachers and classmates to help teach me and educate me to help me throughout my school career. The story a lesson before dying reflects on my life by helping others. For example grant helped Jefferson in order for him to be known as a man and not a hog. This can relate to me by my friends helping me to be the best I can be
