The green light symbolize the relationship between Gatsby and Daisy. It’s Gatsby dream, hope, and desire to reunite with Daisy. He tries everything in his power to see Daisy. What he mainly does is throw parties to see if Daisy would show up and when she doesn’t, he goes in his backyard to see the green light which is where Daisy and her husband Tom lives at every time. When Gatsby started talking to Daisy it was like he was a brand person. He tried everything in his power to make Daisy to go back with him. That was in the beginning of the story, with that to describe the green light in this situation with Gatsby it was like a rebirth for him and the start of a new life. As the story went it on, things with Gatsby and Daisy was on off. One day Daisy will be happy with Gatsby, then the next day she’ll be sad. For example when they went out in the pool it seem like everything was lovely, but then when he took Daisy to his closet and start throwing his clothes, it was like she was very emotional to be with him. Once Gatsby got killed, Daisy cared but at the same time she really didn’t. She didn’t go to his funeral or anything, it really look bad to do Gatsby like that. It proved to show that she was using him and in my opinion that’s cool. You would leave and don’t care about someone when they die and they tried everything in there power and put there heart into something and to make you happy for you just to go back with a man that was cheating on you from the beginning. It just didn’t make any sense to do someone wrong like that. To me she didn’t have a heart when she didn’t attend his funeral and went back with Tom.
