An unavoidable part of life is dealing with stress and learning how to handle it. While the busyness of people’s lives steadily increases, the stress level of an individual tends to rise. There are many stress relief methods that exist. I believe cardiovascular exercise is one good beneficial approach to reducing stress. Different forms of cardio exercise can physically contribute to ease stress. It can also provide benefits for the mind. Since exercise is an outlet for frustration, it can be a healthy and effective way to release these negative emotions. Exercise lowers symptoms for stress related illnesses. As people start to perform cardio, their stress levels start to relieve and evolves into a sense of control over their body and life. Once the body learns how to rest, it makes it easier for mind control to take place. Instead of being so overworked over certain feelings, it becomes simpler to think things through. Unfortunately, about forty percent of adults undergo health consequences due to stress (WebMD). This number wouldn’t have been so high if the patients participated in physical activities, such as running, from a young age. Many don’t realize that the small investment they make determines a portion of their future. Remaining physically inactive can serve to be a disservice to one’s body and mind. People are too overwhelmed to think that it would benefit them. Even taking a jog would require too much of an effort. Because of society’s obligations, the worries of an average everyday routine bring them devastation. It becomes difficult to try to find time within their schedules to squeeze in a time to run. Adding exercise on their to-do list would result in more pressure while trying to reduce stress is the last priority on their mind. However, if they were able to manage their time and duties, making time to get involved in a cardio workout would not be a problem. They would be able to experience the true benefits of exercise and see how it could translate into reducing stress in their lives.
Stress is an inevitable part of life but there can be a healthy ways to respond to it. As individuals start to fight their stress with running exercises, they can realize that they slowly become more immune towards future stress. Although running is a challenging sport, it does not require too much from a person. There can be many long-term goals established through this physical activity. Exercise can be an advantage to the physical body and contributes to lowering stress
