An early day, in what seemed to be a normal town, but this town, my town; known as the Town of Salem, was far from normal. There were many cases of crime in this town, and as the town jailor, it was my job to help prevent it. This morning, there were two people dead, the lookout, and the jester. The lookout had blood stains on him that hinted at the fact that he had been brutally stabbed, likely by a serial killer. The jester on the other hand, had been shot, signalling the presence of the mafia. The mafia are a criminal organization that won’t stop until everyone bows down to them, and with those goals in mind, they keep killing the innocent people of the town. The despair I felt when I had been stabbed was horrible, the feeling of having the serial killer within my jail cell, only to let her get away. I wondered if they would ever be caught, or if she would continue her rampage until the entire town was dead. Before I died, I had heard rumors about a strange “retributionist” that could revive people from the dead. I could only hope that these rumors were true, as the town just wastes another day. I sit through the night, only to find that a mysterious figure appears in the sky. “Is there anything you know that you would like me to tell the town” she said. “The girl that sits in the dark alley during the day is the one that killed me,” I immediately responded. “Alright, I’ll make sure I inform the town of your information,” she replied. Afterwards, the figured disappeared into the sky, and I continued to wonder how the town members would respond to this information. Maybe they wouldn’t believe the mysterious woman, or maybe they would have her put on trial for witchcraft. All I could do is wait for the next day and see what would
