Other glaring problems with the curriculum include unqualified teachers. Parents who homeschool their students want the best for their education, but are not always able to provide it. Most parents are unqualified to teach the subjects they do, so the curriculum is inadequate and cannot effectively teach (Hudak). Public schools, on the other hand, hire teachers fully qualified to teach their subjects. Since they lack the qualification of professional teachers, parents are unfortunately not able to provide the same quality education to students (“Homeschooling”). There are many subjects that parents are unqualified to teach, such as language. A tutor who is qualified to teach the language must be hired to adequately teach the course.
