In Thomas Eakins’ painting The Biglin Brothers Racing, the lines are being used in the piece by showing them moving in different directions. Even though most of the outlines in the artwork are organic because of the people and landscapes involved, there are different movements of the lines being geometrically shown.     The dominant line in this piece of art would have to be a straight line. To be precise, the vertical straight line is a vivid piece to this art.
