Banks and Banks (2002) stated that AAT or Animal Assisted Therapy have helped increase patient’s self-awareness, and has minimized the fear of social anxiety. Animals that are associated with therapy are commonly used with patients who are in hospitals, nursing homes, and therapy sessions (Velde et al., 2005).
