The Awakenings was viewed on cinemas back in 1990, directed by Penny Marshall and based on the book of Oliver Sacks with the title itself. Based on a true story, it portrays Dr. Sacks life and experience with the patients of the Chronix Hospital who temporarily awakened by a drug used for patients with Parkinsons disease. In the movie, a story of hope, care and love of life, family and friends will be tackle.
