INTRODUCTION

Did you know human trafficking has inclined amongst the world ever than before? As you look to person to your left, there’s a possibility that either one of you can be the next victim. Although no one take inconsideration of that suspicious white van parked nearby your house, you should think twice about that skeptical scenery. As people, we enjoy wandering around accommodations. But knowing there’s a possibility that someone is spying on us, alters my reasons to step a foot outside. Personally, being supervised isn’t pleasant. With my lack of knowledge on this serious matter, I decided to go more in depth with some research. Many people heard about human trafficking as prostitution, but prostitution is sometimes voluntary and human trafficking is involuntary.
a. As reported by Melissa Ditmore not knowing what the word prostitution or “sex work” makes us ignore these other forms of trafficking, and so denies help and protection to all the men, women and children forced into and trapped in abusive working situations in other industries.
a.i. Stop confusing sex work and human trafficking.
b. Many of the women that are in prostitution don’t want to be there but sometimes have no other options.
b.i. A 2003 study published in the scientific Journal of Trauma Practice found that 89 percent of women in prostitution want to escape. And children are also trapped in human trafficking.
Therefore, can we say that human trafficking is a form of modern day slavery, and where did human trafficking originate?
