The Roaring Twenties “If Music is a Place -- then Jazz is the City” Vera Nazarian said when describing music. Jazz music describes the roaring 1920’s perfectly. The 1920’s were a dramatic political and social reform and deserves the nickname the roaring twenties.
During the twenties, many people moved to the cities and wanted to live life up. Many Americans had extra money to spend on consumer goods.
