Teen Activists are making an big difference in the world. They are standing up and raising their voices for their human rights. Did you know that there are a lot of Teen Activists all over the world giving speeches and raising money for their Charity/Programs or what they are fighting for? The lack of girls being educated is something that has been bothering the world for years. Do you know that not all girls are allowed in education? Malala Yousafzai is a 20 year old girl activist trying to support girls education and help this cause. Now they’re are supporters all over the world, and influential and powerful people donating millions of dollars trying to help this cause. Not all girls are allowed in Education. For Example in Kenya, Primary school, school was once free, and almost 90% of children attended, but in the 1980s the Government were short on money so they started charging families for things like Uniforms and Textbooks. The Number of children in school dropped to 50%, this is because of Poverty. According to an Newsela article the Obamas have made a program called Let Kids Learn. Let Girls Learn is an very helpful program that will help more than 62 million teenage girls worldwide enroll and stay in school learning. According to a Newsela article, “USAID a company that helps poor people around the world is in charge and run the Let Girls Learn program”. “Countries all around the world like Japan,South Korea and The United Kingdom have donated over 200 Million Dollars to Poor countries such as Cambodia, Albania, Bolivia, Pakistan, etc”. Over 130 Million Girls don’t go to school. Almost 65 Million of them are Girls. Countries all over the world have at least 1 Million kids especially Girls who don't go to school because of either Poverty or War. As you can see not all girls are allowed to have a education so stand up and make a change! In addition - why girls don’t attend school is because they have to stay home, cook and take care for their families. More girls have to do Chores such as gather clean water for
