Teen Activism: Courage Fueling Change

Teen activist work to make the world a better place . They do work that take courage and time. the work is hard. Many teen activist get help in different ways ; from adults , from other kids ,or just rely on them self like Malala Yousafzai, Craig Kielburger ,and Alex Libby .Teen activist take a stand that some adults would never do like Malala standing up to the taliban . Teen activist are very brave most people would never stand up to the problem they also may need help from other people.

Some activist get help from adults . For example one teen who gets help from adults is Malala. Her father helps her like a manger . He is always there in the background . In Malala’s interview with John stewart , stewart asked was she afraid when threats …show more content…

One example of a teen activist that gets help from other kids is Craig kielburger . Craig get’s inspiration from Iqbal Masih another teen activist who went against child labor, but sadly was assassinated April 15 ,1995 ; he also gets from older brother Marc Kielburger . Craig Kielburger founded the adopt a village with a activist Marc Kielburger to help stop child labor , promote human rights, also try to stop poverty . Free the children writes that “ Recognizing that there is no single solution to end poverty, Craig and Marc created Adopt a Village, an innovative, holistic approach to development that provides access to five key pillars—education, clean water and sanitation, health care, food security, and alternative income—and empowers a community to lift itself out of poverty.” This shows that they are helping each other to become successful activist in what they are standing up for . Craig and Marc Kielburger are a second way teen activist get help from other kids .

Lastly, Alex Libby ; he stood up for bullying when he had been bullied since middle school every day for looking different . Alex says this “ It’s all about who looks the best , dresses the best . “ Alex does most of the work himself like his bullying documentary he directed to share that bullying is not a good thing . He did this with some help but mostly relied on himself . Alex Libby is very talented to pull off what he did with the help he had . Alex has done a lot relying on himself . He relies on himself to make a stand , that is the last one I am listing for who teen activist get help
