Ted Bundy was a serial killer in the 1970s. . He had a disturbed childhood and home life. He was nicknamed the campus killer for his tendency of killing girls in college. He had a twisted background, a disturbing MO and left several memorable victims, earning him the title of monster. In a paper about Ted Bundy it is important to address his background. He was an alignment child. While we don’t know who his father was, we do know his mother was not mentally stable. Some sources believe that his father may have been his grandfather. He was raised by his grandparents, but they lied to him saying his mother was his sister and that his grandparents were his parents. He went to college and was just an unambitious student, but then within a months’ time, he was dumped his fiancé and found out his “sister” was really his mother. Most of his victims were petite, white, long haired, college girls, who reminded him of his fiancé and or mother in some way. He was an attractive man. He went back to school and studied psychology with the intent of learning how to gain trust to facilitate kidnapping and killing people. He would take his victims to a safe location, where he would rape and strangle his victims. It is believed that serial killers fell a need to control their victims and killing them is the ultimate form of domination of another person. This gives an insight to the sick mind f Ted Bundy. Ted Bundy killed at least 36 women, but experts estimate it may be closer to 100. He killed people in at least six states. His first was Karen Sparks a University of Washington student. One of the few women to escape hi clutches was Carol DaRonch who was influential in his arrest. His final victim was a twelve-year-old girl named Kimberly
