Technical writing skill as help me in ways of writing that I do not know I have to learn. Technical writing class as taught me skills about how to write a job application and prepared for interview, writing memo, oral writing and different writing skills, moral and ethical dilemma in the work place, how to relate to the audiences. It has made me to realize the important of the audiences and how vital it is when communicating. In the medical profession the use of oral communication is more than the use of written communication. Communication plays a very important part in every profession. A good communication skill is very vital in running any kind of business when communication is weak or poor in any business it affects everyone. Taking this course technical writing as definitely help to improve my communication and writing skills, there is no lost in learning, but will be rewarding at the end. (Gurak & Lannon chapter 3. (pg 46). Technical writing as also help me to know how to go about filling out application for a job. The steps to follow and how to prepared yourself for the interviewer by researching the company, get to know more about the company you are applying for.
I believe taking this class technical writing would help me through my school years and in the future. Taking technical writing class as given me a change of heart towards writing because initially, I thought the class will be all about writing so much essay, but taking this class as help me to realize that in other to make your writing effective there are steps and format that we have to put into consideration.
