Have people ever thought on getting a tattoo? Probably yes, right because may be people favorite actress or player has one. Nowadays is been common that many people get tattoos. It is because we are having an influence of getting tattoos trough some T.V. programs like “Miami ink” and “Inked”. These programs show us that tattoos are the most amazing experience of get one. But, have those programs shown that tattoos are bad for humans. People should seriously reconsider getting a tattoo due to: career, health, gang and regret. Tattoos are permanent markings in the skin made by way of ink and needles. In some companies and corporations do not permit employers with tattoos because it can give a bad image about their company. So, tattoos can inhibit people ability to get a job. In some work environments, it is not advisable for employees to wear sleeveless shirts -- let alone reveal a sleeve of tattoos. Still, a 2012 study the polling organization, Harris Interactive, notes that one out of five adults in the United States sports at least one tattoo. This is true to a certain extent because tattoos have become a popular method adopted by gang members to mark their group identity and their alienation from the mainstream norm and social networks. Gang members in particular take pride in branding themselves as outside of the boundaries of conventional society. Tattoos have long been a means of identifying oneself with a group or culture and triad gangs were one of the first groups to use tattoos as a means of denoting identity and affinity.
