Without adequate training the employees will not make a sandwich correctly, which is key in a low cost strategy. What people do not understand is that fresh vegetables are very expensive and when an employee puts too many on a sandwich, they can be throwing away a lot of money. So proper training would consist what Subway already does, online training and on the job training, as well as understand the cost of products the cost of waste and how that affects everyone.
