As SHC moves forward with transitioning to a new EMR, EPIC, it is essential that our organization consider some key recommendations as we establish the implementation strategy for this project. The use of an EMR will provide our organization with the ability to communicate patient information and care across all organizational boundaries, thus SHC will see improvements in both the processes and outcomes of care which aligns with SHC's mission.
