Super Bowl 49 was played on February 1, 2015. The game pitted The Seattle Seahawks against The New England Patriots. The first half of the game was very entertaining and had a lot of fast paced action and good plays. Once, the half ended we were treated to an interesting half time performance by Katy Perry and Missy Elliot. As interesting as the halftime show was it paled in comparison to the climax of the game which had an insane turn of events. It is very hard to put this experience in to words but informing others about it makes the trouble worthwhile. When the game started there wasn’t much action because both defenses stood firm but it didn’t take too long for Tom Brady to open up the scoring and make is imprint after the game. Shortly thereafter, the Seahawks scored and proceeded to control the rest of the half and they ended the half with a slight lead. Both teams imposed their will on the game and both teams fought hard made for a very entertaining for half and foreshadowed the coming events. After 30 minutes of exhilarating football Katy Perry began her halftime performance. It was probably the most bizarre halftime performance that I have ever seen. This situation might stifle most quarterbacks but it did not stifle Tom Brady and he proceeded to complete some game changing passes and regained the lead for the Patriots. The Seahawks would have one last chance and they managed to get to the 1 yard line. The most logical thing to do in this situation is to use Marshawn Lynch and run the football in to the end zone. But the coach was an idiot and called and throwing play and the throw was intercepted and the Patriots emerged
