The world has a general problem with illegal immigration. The country that had the most illegal immigrants, surveyed, was the United States. Even though some the date surveyed is slightly outdated, it shows how the numbers are actually climbing. In 2001, the percentage of illegal immigrants living in the U.S. was 3%. It dropped the next year ever so slightly, and ever since then has raised up to 3.8% in 2010 (Immigration ProCon). There are very strong statistics that one can no longer avoid confronting. Not only is it a problem in the U.S., but other countries such as Spain, New England, Greece, Hungry, France, Austria, and many others don’t even reach over 1.5% (Immigration ProCon).
