They are your kids raise them they way you want to. Did you know that there are four main parenting styles that most parents fall into in America? The four main parenting styles are authoritative, permissive and authoritarian. Authoritative parenting is the best parenting. Parents are the most involved and have balance level of control. Authoritative parents tell realistic expectations and set rules for their children. Also, they give them natural consequences. Natural consequences are outcomes that happen as a result of behavior that is not planned or controlled (Pryor & Tollerud, 1999). Permissive parenting, parent or guardian usual are not too strict. They show a lot of love and support.
