Stopping Discrimination in business hiring

Stopping discrimination in business is a must. Discrimination is treating, or proposing to treat someone unfavorably, because of how that person looks or his or her family background. It is a bad racial act that needs to stop. Many of Americans are discrimated and prevented from getting a job because of how they look, act or where they are from. Employers can be held legally responsible for doing such things. They are working on an equal opportunity policy term that will set out clear and simple rules of what's acceptable and what's not acceptable in the workplace. An eighteen year old was recovering from severe depression. And anorexia, and he took a voluntary job at a local branch of a well known charity shop. He had to write down any medications he was taking at that time. Later the manger came up to him and demanded to know why he was on antidepressant drugs. He asked him many other questions and later on the teen just left. Anti black hiring was in big effect in 1989. Radical discrimination often takes place undetected. It is the ugly truth of today's society. A black employee who has been denied the chance of being hired for a job is something that goes on in the U.S almost every single day. Sex discrimination is discriminating someone due to their sex boy/girl. It's like saying a man is more likely to get a certain job than a women is to get that same job. Discriminating is just a lack of judgement and is going to tear this country apart in the future if we don't put a stop to it right now. That's why there needs to be more laws that protect your rights as a U.S citizen and to protect you from any harm due to discrimination. In some business areas they really don't do much. They write warnings, suspensions, or terminations. Even after they do that some of the discrimination still goes on. Businesss could get lawsuits and that could be bad for the company slash business. In conclusion we think that discrimination in business hiring is wrong and it should be consider a crime. It would be punishable by law and would be fined a lot of money for owners of business found guilty of discriminating in their hiring
