Her mom mostly stays at home and her dad is the CEO of New Territories Bank. Sammy snuck out of her house and went to a concert with her friends. It turns out to be awful because somebody barfed all over them. But her family runs into a problem. Their family cloud and the bank's database were hacked and publishes for the world to see. Sammy had an online diary and that was published. When Sammy goes back to school everybody stares at her and she decides to skip class.
I found The Impossible Knife of Memory by Laurie Halse Anderson overall very interesting. It is a realistic fiction book and it contains a lot of events that happen in Hayley Kincains life. Her father is constantly getting drunk and quitting his jobs because of his PTSD that he developed from being a former veteran. She's constantly struggling with succeeding in school and watching after her dad. “It started in detention. No surprise there, right?” She was practically homeschooled for 5 years since her dad constantly moved to new places. She also develops a love interest with a boy she was supposed to be tutored by. She developed feelings for him and he turned into her boyfriend. She has to watch out for him so her dad won't find out about

Wesley cobble asked Scott Hudson for spare change and took it from him, but later on he becomes one of Scott’s biggest friends. Many of changes happened to Scott. Scott changed the most because his friendships have changed and he didn’t want Julia as bad, while on the other hand Mouth tried to kill himself.
I’m reading Speak, by Laurie Halse Anderson. Normally I don’t like to read a all, but this book is making it more fun to read. Whenever I pick it up I just keep on going. This is like one of the only books I can actually get into. It’s about a girl named Melinda, and she is a freshman starting school just like me. When she gets to school she has no friends because all of her old friends are still mad at her from last year. The author still has not said why all of her friends hate her. She feels like an outcast and is that one girl who has no friends to sit by at lunch or anywhere else. But, she found one other girl who is alone to and she calls the other girl a wounded zebra. I can vaguely remember the days at St. James Catholic School when nap time, learning the ABC’s, and what I was going to play at recess were at the top of my concerns. In each grade new ideas were taught and learned. In Preschool, I learned how to color inside of the lines and how to sing the ABC’s. While in Kindergarten and First grade, I learned the basics of reading and how to properly write. Second grade was the year I learned how to write in cursive. In third grade, test taking became regular and lifelong friendships started to form. My early years in school taught me the basics for what I needed in the future.

It's your freshman year of high school. You walk through the halls and notice that you can barely find anyone from your freshman class. All you can see are these older kids that you had never noticed before. It feels like everyone is watching your every move. Suddenly you run into an older boy in front of you because you were too busy looking at your feet trying to dodge eye contact. Your books are now on the hallway floor and so are you. You scramble to grab them before anyone notices, but just as you look up you meet eyes with the older boy. He smiles and helps you regain your composure. Then you both walk your separate ways down the hallway.
