Health care organizations are always looking for different ways to improve and provide better health care quality and improvements in patient satisfaction. Patients always have the right to choose, ask, and complain about the services they receive. Patients’ views are important for any business. Regarding health care, patients want the highest of quality care, have the right to receive the best services. It is the organization's responsibility to its consumers to ensure the highest quality of care is delivered and solve any problem may occur. These areas affect the finances of the hospital and patient satisfaction. The areas considered for improvement resulted from the data from the performance surveys. Bad customer service people with headphones or having side conversations can affect the hospital performance and patient satisfaction. The wait times in the emergency room for the patient may take hours. Some medical situations need immediate care. According to Government Accountability Office, emergency room wait times continue to increase. The report says the rate wait time to see a doctor is more than the recommended time in some cases (Sabriya Rice, 2011). Decreasing the emergency room wait times will increase patient’s satisfaction and improve performance. The affected areas of the hospital, include front desk admission, emergency room.
