According to Dictionary.com, Success is defined as “the favorable or prosperous termination of attempts or endeavors” or “the accomplishment of one’s goals.” In his article “What does Success Mean to You,” T. J. Wallis notes, “Success is uniquely personal. It is about achieving goals and feeling good about yourself,” in society, the definition of this word differs from person to person, but usually, success means that the person has accomplished a goal which would may cost a lifetime for one but not for the other. Most of the world refers success as economic prosperity because money can bring stability in one’s life. Achieving financial success has often postponed time with family, community, and personal growth. Obsession with material achievements always and often inclines one-dimensional individuals to isolate themselves from society on the whole. Although the term “Success” is considered solely economic, others believe that it comes in different forms like inner success, physical success, and family success. Sharing the fruit of success with others, mainly with the family brings ultimate happiness. Albert Schweitzer believes that “Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.” Success in any kind, once achieved brings peace and tranquility in a family as targets have been met and reached. Tranquility attained through success frees one’s mind from agitation, disturbance or turmoil. Prestige is something for which one is respected for and worked hard to reach an objective. Prestige and success go hand in hand as one follows the other. One of the benefits of being prestigious is that it shows that person’s family is successful and honorable for that recognition.
