Starbucks Corporation is a profit organisation. It is an American-based franchise dealing with coffee. Starbucks originated from Seattle, Washington in 1971. As of November 2016, Starbucks has 23,768 stores worldwide. The chosen leader, former CEO Howard Schultz, founded Starbucks Corporation.

Strategic Plans
Strategic Plans outlines the major goals of an organization. To expand coffee innovations, Starbucks have been planning to open a new “Roastery” in Seattle. The Roastery is a unique and raging retail experience is a new concept to the coffee industry. With its success, Starbucks is looking forward to advance and globalize Roastery, where it can be enjoyed with their new Italian food experience.

II. Long Term Plans
In terms of Long Term Plans, Starbucks’ Roastery represented over 2 years of cautious, consistent work to create a unique experience in the world of coffee and retail. Additionally, Starbucks recently announced that they planned to grow their revenue by 10%, nearly $30million over a period of 5 years. In addition, they also planned to open an estimated 12,000 new stores globally by 2021.

III. Single Use Plans
The limited-edition Birthday Frappuccino introduced in conjunction with SG50, is an example of Starbuck’s Single Use Plan. HCZ’s goal is to educate the poverty-stricken children and families at Harlem to break the vicious cycle of poverty there. HCZ is working to create a breaking point in the community’s cultural norms. As such, the attendance for the non-profit programmes they offer must reach about 65% of the total number of children they serve.

II. Directional Plan
In general, HCZ aims to maximize educational goals for the poor children. To do so, the organisation has various flexible plans carried out. This includes equipping applicable data to program staff to provide excellent service and cultivating strong links among the different programs provided to ensure steady progress.

III. Specific Plan
HCZ has a clearly defined objective: To open a $100,000,000 facility that would recreate Harlem. This 135,000 square-foot building would have 52 classrooms.
