People of the new digital generation know all about social media. Social media is used in lots and lots of different ways and viewed by many very differently. Older people that have been around long before the digital media feel that social media and interaction over the internet is horrible and stupid. The generation of today eats up social media we live, breath, and focus solely on social media and wonder what everyone around us is doing. Social media can be used for many different things business growth, business connection, family connection, and personal connection. The generation of today can utilize social media for a huge amount of uses. The social media world is always evolving to try to keep our generation in the app longer and longer each time we open it. The only other site that rivals twitter is Facebook. Also, Facebook has seen a decline in monthly users that have been switching to twitter. Twitter has gained a following because of the short and quick information post and the more streamlined like and share feature that twitter uses over Facebook. Facebook uses to many windows and it is slow to share information. Twitter uses a one to two tap design that shares information much quicker. There are different sections for why we have main social media pages. Facebook does picture sharing and long posts, its more of a archive.
