“Society is an organized group of persons associated together for religious, benevolent, cultural, scientific, political, patriotic, or other purposes” (Dictionary.com, 2015). Sociologists are interested in knowing how people from different cultures involve in other societies. They are interested in what problems people face that relate to a larger sociological perspective, from culture shock to social class. “According to C. Wright Mills, the sociological imagination in his article, The Promise, is the ability to perceive the interconnections between personal troubles of milieu and the public issues of social culture” (Mills). “Technology is the purposeful application of information in the design, production, and utilization of goods and services, and in the organization of human activities” (BusinessDictionary.com, 2015). The introduction of new electronics in the household for example iPad, television and computers has changed the daily functioning of the Family. Technology has also impacted my personal life because the introduction of new advanced technological products has kept me away from the social circle of the family. Introduction of PlayStation 4 or Computers is so addictive that I usually spent like 16 hours over it and in that 16 hours’ time period, I have no communication skills with my family. I also believe that in past, as there was less distraction so there was a quality of life through socializing with family. However, in modern world, the family structure is destroyed by the rise of technology. Besides this, technology has bad impact on children because once I played the gangster game with my little brother and he liked the personality of the gangster so much that he started acting as that gangster and used bad language. “As mentioned in sociological imagination; The Promise by C.
