Socialist feminism is a branch of feminism that focuses upon both the public and private spheres of a woman's life and argues that liberation can only be achieved by working to end both the economic and cultural sources of women's oppression. Socialist feminism argues that capitalism strengthens and supports the sexist status because men are the ones who currently have power and money. There are two objectives of socialist feminist and they are making the connection between capitalism and patriarchy, which refers to the limited roles of women in the western society. Emphasizes that there are environmental, fundamental, and biological differences between men and women. Women believe that these differences should be celebrated. The perspective of sisterhood that women share provides a basis of unity and solidarity. Inheritably, women are naturally more kind and gentle than men and feminist believe that if women were to rule the world there would be lesser evils and it would be a better place. As a young woman, they were taught how to breastfeed, bake, cook gourmet meals, dress, look, and act more feminine, how to make their marriages more exciting, and how to keep their children from becoming bad kids. They were taught to look down on women who wanted to revolt against this. The type of women who were unfeminine, women who wanted to have political power, or women who wanted their voices to be heard.
