Social Entrepreneurship is considered to be one of the rapidly growing areas of our society attracting attention from various sectors. On the most basic level, the rapid increase is because of the high success some entrepreneurs manage to accomplish. There is something inherently appealing about individuals or organizations and the backstory of why and how they do what they do. These extraordinary entrepreneurs find ways to go against the odds and succeed by new innovations and initiatives. They partner with not-for-profits and communities in one of the many countries to ensure they have targeted, lasting impact. The community they choose is then hired to assist in growing the seeds to be used for planting. Shortly after, locals put in a lot of hours clearing the premises of debris, which would result in better growth. Throughout this preparation, fifty trees provide a local worker the opportunity to earn money for a full day’s work. Not only are they helping the environment by planting more trees, they are also creating opportunities for people to earn money by doing well for the environment. The communities are then hired to watch the sites from grazing animals or severe weather warnings for up to 7 years. However, most of the deforestation in the areas is the result of individuals looking for wood and shelter. For this to not be an issue, tentree works to educate all communities. The trees planted are done in the sole purpose of solving an ever-increasing problem.
