Nazia were taught that jews were an enemy. The Novel “Night was an inspiring book towards readers. Both the book and the movie “Night and “Anne Frank, was based on jews hiding away from the Nazi germany. “Anne Frank remembered showed how Anne and her family escaped the concentration camp. Elie Wiesel and his experience with his father in the Nazi german concentration camps at Auschwitz and Buchenwald. Both the book and the movie have similarities and differences from how the both escape the concentration camp to how the escaped the camps.

In the book “Night.” 13 year old Elie Wiesel and his family lived in the ghettos of germany. Elie was a religious young man a believer and a curious good person. Spring 1944 germany was defeated by russia, that meant no good for germany. 3 to 4 months Later the germany’s were forced out the homes to move to the ghetto’s which were little homes that are dirty and over 16 people can live in one small room. Jew were segregated from everyone that's not a jew. Hanukkah is a jewish holiday where you celebrate with your family happy and excited to see a new year but elie and his family celebrated it in fear. The film relates how Anne and her family tried to survive Nazi persecution in Amsterdam by hiding in her father's office building, aided by trusted friends. Growing up anne was a child that wanted to know everything and ask lots of questions. Anne and her family were hiding for 2 years and everyday she will write in her diary. When the jews were segregated they weren't allowed to have businesses but the father continue to run the business with the trust of christians.During the two years anne and her family was hiding in fear didn’t stop them from celebrating hanukkah.
