Apple even states “Intercept your messages, access your health records or financial data, track your location, or even access your phone’s microphone or camera without your knowledge.” This would all happen if Apple makes a back door to their iPhone. If Apple creates a “backdoor” to their iPhone. There will be consequences that could never be fixed in privacy and security.
First off if the government makes Apple open their iPhone through a back door all of the iPhones security features would go. This would allow anyone to open the iPhone “brute force”. Apple states “It would have the power to reach into anyone’s device to capture their data” Which would mean any cyber criminal could hack into any iPhone! Apple created a security system that keeps out cyber criminals and hackers. It is so important that Apple states “ We have used encryption to protect our customers’ personal data because we believe it’s the only way to keep their information safe. We have even put that data out of our own reach, because we believe the contents of your iPhone are none of our business.” So the need of encryption is so urgent that Apple can't even get the information from their own phones!
