A school shooting is increasing tremendously over past years. The debate being raised to stop the school shooting. President Trump and others proposed that teacher can have a gun in school. More gun in school can save from mass shooting. More gun in school theory is like cut your head to get rid of from a headache. School is a place to get an education and learn how to lead a peaceful life. A teacher with a gun doesn’t mean educator. It says something else.
In an article on Washington examiner, Daniel Payne gave some excellent argument in favor of teacher can carry a gun in school. I couldn’t find good and reason to give teachers gun to protect students. Teachers duty to teach students. Innocent kids go to school to learn something useful. If they saw the teachers with gun, they might not understand why teachers are carrying gun. When they know their teacher have deathly weapon they might be scared or might be fear all time. It can be an adverse effect on them. Parents might be anxious all the time. Let’s imagine some scenario. If shooting happen outside classroom how an armed teacher will find out who is a regular student and who is the shooter? Parents think that a teacher can be violated like a shooter. Just imagine if a teacher become crazy and start to shoot in his/her class. It will be worst then a shooter from outside. President Trump said, teachers will be trained to carry gun. The police officers go for training twice a month still they miss target. How people think a teacher can act correctly in front of a mass shooter. President Trump said he wants to train 20% teacher. There are 3.6M teacher in public school. How much money govt. Need to spend on training the teachers. Our school need more education materials, educators and need to spend more money in education programs to build a better nation. Randi Weingarten, the president of the American Federation of Teachers, said teachers don’t want to be an armed event the teacher who are gun owners. They want to teach.
