Undocumented Aliens For many years people all over the world have came to the United States seeking a better lifestyle. However, not every immigrant comes into the country legally. America should be more strict on immigration laws because it's a law violation, it costs America trillions tax money, and there's no National Identification card.
Illegal immigration is a law violation and can lead to higher crimes and terrorism threats.
According to the U.S Nationality Act “(A) Any alien who at the time of entry or adjustment of status was within one or more of the classes of aliens inadmissible by the law existing at such time is deportable.(B) Also Any alien who is present in the United States in violation of this Act or any other law of the United States, or whose nonimmigrant visa (or other documentation authorizing admission into the United States as a non immigrant) is deportable.” (U.S Citizenship and immigration services)

This law reminds us that illegal immigration is wrong, and that when coming to America illegally you can and will get deported. Here many people would object but this is a law, and they do give you a right to come to America, but they inform you to do it the legal way. If we just let people in our country left in right the crime rate would go up. For example we are already dealing with a big issue of human trafficking. ¨Though statistics vary widely, human trafficking is estimated to impact between 600,000 and 800,000 people worldwide: between 14,500 and 17,500 people are trafficked in the United States annually.¨ (Rolling Stone) Human Trafficking is against the law in the United States. Letting people into the country with no background checks increases the risks of human
As you can see immigration is a very complex subject with many varying views and angles. We are a nation made up of immigrants. My grandfather on my father’s side emigrated from Lebanon. My great grandfather on my mother’s side emigrated from Lithuania. They came here in pursuit of the American Dream. They were proud to follow the rules of the nation and I am so glad they came to this country. However the world has changed since those days and is a much more dangerous place. Restricted and controlled immigration can only be good for the country’s national security, the American worker and the U.S. economy. The belief of open borders in nice but unrealistic in the dangerous world we live in today.
...ch is why, it is necessary that we should make more efforts to allow immigrants to come to America, and have a chance at a better future. America has made such strict regulations, laws and, to migrate to America legally which I imagine is the cause of the large amount of illegal immigrants in our country today.
This ban was implemented in order to prevent criminal organizations such as gangs, cartels, and other criminal groups from preventing crime. What this executive order does is allow the law enforcement the right to prosecute citizens and also deport non-citizens that are caught in illegal behavior or criminal behavior for say. “These activities go on a wide ranging list such as illegal smuggling and trafficking of humans, drugs or other substances, wildlife, and weapons," "corruption, cybercrime, fraud, financial crimes, and intellectual-property theft," and money laundering” (Harrington, 2017). This actually got a lot of people excited because it is what many people wanted to happen. A lot of people are fine with immigration but not fine with immigrants committing illegal
One of the most recent outbreaks in America, is illegal immigration. An illegal immigrant is a foreigner who enters the U.S. without an entry or immigrant visa, especially a person who crosses the border by avoiding inspection or who overstays the period of time allowed as a visitor, tourist, or businessperson; a foreigner who has entered or resides in a country unlawfully or without the country's authorization.(dictionary.com). The effect from illegal immigration impacts America directly dealing with: environmental ordinance, social and political concepts, and economic pursuits. "Illegal immigration generates insecurity about America’s borders, carries economic and fiscal costs, and risks the creation of an isolated underclass. The prevalence
The United States of America, being a country founded by immigrants, is known all over the world as the land of great opportunities. People from all walks of life travelled across the globe, taking a chance to find a better life for them and their family. Over the years, the population of immigrants has grown immensely, resulting in the currently controversial issue of illegal immigration. Illegal immigrants are the people who have overstayed the time granted on their US, visa or those who have broken the federal law by crossing the border illegally. Matt O’Brien stated in his article “The government thinks that 10.8 million illegal immigrants lived in the country in January 2009, down from a peak of nearly 12 million in 2007.”(Para, 2).
Most of the United States (U.S) is comprised of immigrants—including those who have migrated to the States from another country and those whose ancestors freely travelled to the States in search of a fresh start. Every year, the U.S. grants a limited number of people around the world the opportunity to immigrate to the States each year. As a result of the restriction, citizens from neighboring countries cross the border illegally. According to an article by Jens Manuel Krogstad, 11.3 million unauthorized immigrants reside in the U.S. in 2014. This whopping number has stirred controversy both politically and economically for America’s government officials. As a result, many people argue whether illegal immigrants should or should not be aided
Immigration is the greatest part of American history. In the beginning, Immigrants brought a vast variety of cultures and beliefs and turned America in to the beauty it is today. Immigrants are still doing this. However, the issue with immigration can be it 's illegal status. Many undocumented immigrants are entering this country causing questions among the American citizens. Rather than asking if this is right or wrong, a solution can be found. Illegal immigrants come here for a purpose and can be helped with this purpose. Most come fleeing persecution, although some come here for more demented reasons. Those, illegal immigrants will be done away with. However, Those immigrants who come here for pure reasons need to be taken Care of in proper

Immigration has been a problem for so many years. This issue began in the 19th century and yet is still a major problem in the U.S. Illegal immigrants don't have many rights living in the U.S. They have a hard life because they don't have the same opportunities as a u.s citizen has. Many of these people get treated unfairly simply because of the fact that they are illegal. There is cases where they have been treated aggressively by the authority. Everyone needs equality no matter where they are from. Most of these immigrants are latinos that come from central america. People from the united states are allowed to go and have a nice vacation in these places but yet those there have to cross a border and put their life at risk just to have a better life. Why do these people have to risk their lives in look for something better. The united states promises equality and this is what attracts others and its sad that they can’t come in legally without having to risk their lives. The ones that are here are working hard and most of them do no harm. Deportation should not be used on illegal immigrants.
Immigration is not illegal for no reason. In society today, Americans tend to get upset with our current president's new policies and laws about Immigration. However, with these new policies and laws, America will be safer. Some undocumented immigrants truly do come to America for a better life, however some have other intentions. These other intentions include crimes of drug trafficking and gang violence. Federal investigators believe that when undocumented immigrants trespassed American borders in 2005, around 2.2 million kilograms of cocaine and 11.6 kilograms of marijuana were brought in. It should frighten every American citizen that millions of drugs and people are entering into the country illegally. Unfortunately, drug cartels have
Around 11 million undocumented immigrants have remained in the United States in 2014, half of which persisted for an estimated 13.6 years. Although this number has slightly declined from 2009, many immigrants still reside in America. The result? Wages lower, the unemployed U.S. born citizens face more difficulty, and the security of the united states is endangered. Is it right to allow them to stay, therefore breaking the law, or to accept them into our country? In order to ensure a strong society, it would not be admissible to permit illegal immigrants in the U.S.
Every year, illegal immigrants have used more than $100 billion of taxpayers’ money (Fahmy). Furthermore, during President Obama’s term in office, about 2.5 million illegal immigrants have settled in the United States ("2.5 Million Illegals Cross Border under Obama, Less than Bush”). For this have affected the U.S economy by giving billions of dollars away and giving it to the illegal immigrants. Illegal immigrants shall not stay in the U.S. There are many reasons why they shouldn’t stay in the U.S.
In hindsight, many people have no clue and don’t have the slightest idea that human trafficking is even occurring in the entire world, let alone the United States. It is a shame and a shock that this happens right beneath our noses. Even when we are conscientious about human trafficking, we neglect and ignore it. We try to bypass the thought of this huge crime happening in our own country and fail to realize that it happens everyday. Human trafficking is a serious crime that many people are unaware of; it secretly takes place in the United States; it secretly ruins many lives; it secretly goes by to be never discovered or punished by government officials.
Immigration is a difficult topic to discuss. Everyone has their own opinion on how immigration should be handled. In 2010, Arizona passed the Senate Bill 1070. This bill “requires police to determine the immigration status of someone arrested or detained when there is “reasonable suspicion” they are not in the U.S. legally” (ACLU, 2018). In my opinion, I feel that immigrants should go through the proper steps to becoming a legal citizen. I believe that after the individual has received their visa, they should have the same rights and benefits as a United States citizen. As long as they are in the United States. If an individual has committed a crime and is not a legal citizen, I feel that they should be sent back to their country. This will
Although crime and terrorism has increased because of the absence of carrying out immigration policy, illegal immigration has caused the most effect on the economy. Most people think that illegal immigrants make the country more efficient and do jobs that U.S. citizens do not want to do. Although the truth is that these illegal immigrants are taking legal citizens jobs. As
