High School Uniforms

Schools today are having a debate on whether school uniforms should become mandatory or have the students have their own free will to wear what they like as long it doesn't mess with the schools regulations and rules. Some of the many issues that occur due to not having a proper dress code are bullying, cost of uniforms/more affordable then branded clothes and how uniforms could change the student's education.

School uniforms should be addressed at schools to help get rid of bullying. Students get bullied for not wearing brand clothing. Just because the students aren't wearing the newest fashion they get bullied for off branded clothes. Students that get bullied are often not able to afford the fashionable clothes the rich kids can. This will also stop peer pressure with other students because they are all wearing the same clothing and the students would feel more of an equal then an outcast. If the uniforms were mandatory by the school would help stop giving students reasons to bully someone based on the clothes they wear or how much money the parents have to spend on the said clothes. Bullying will be solved more with uniforms because in an article of "Great! Students that don't have a dress code to wear uniforms take longer to get ready in the morning to get to school because there is diversity of clothes to choose from which could cause the student to be late. Rather if all students had the same outfits it would take half as long to get ready for class. During class students won't be distracted by talking about nice clothes or making fun of someone who wears off brands. In an article in Huffington
