Leadership is many things, offering this opportunity to nurses certainly provides numerous opportunities for growth. Nurses lead the way so that they can incorporate a groups consensus because the nursing staff is one of the largest staff populations in the organization. Also, the nurses are positioned to form connections across department lines. Nurses are positioned to forge connections that are both formal and informal.
